Project Overview

Following the success of our brand evolution for RobCo, we were commissioned to create a 3D motion piece that brought their four core brand messages to life. Through immersive visuals and thoughtful storytelling, we transformed these messages into a dynamic animation that reflects RobCo’s innovative spirit and values.

Initial Concepts

We began by developing an animatic and sketches to outline the overall approach and narrative we aimed to convey in this project.

Modular


The first theme we focused on visualising was the idea of modularity. As the robots can be configured in numerous ways, we aimed to convey the idea of individual modules coming together in a smooth motion before connecting to reveal the final form of the RobCo robot.

Easy


The second chapter of the animation highlighted the ease of using the robots. Through the native RobCo software and app, users can quickly and effortlessly configure the robots to
carry out various tasks. To showcase this, we designed a stylised interface that depicted the simple drag and drop nature of the software in a more visually engaging form.

Adaptable


Adaptability was another core theme we needed to convey in the video – the robots’ ability to be configured for various environments and equipped with different attachments to suit specific use cases. To illustrate this, we depicted the robot in three common scenarios with sleek cuts between each scene to enhance the visual flow.

Autonomous


The final chapter focused on autonomy and the advanced smart technology within the robots, which utilises AI to organise and manage fleets efficiently. To convey this concept, we designed a scan-reveal effect that alludes to the robot’s complex inner workings and showcased smart features such as part scanning and detection.
