When the look is almost as good as the touch
Using a combination of high-fidelity pre-rendered visuals and an embedded interactive WebGL model, we gave users a taste of the quality they can expect from Letter’s solid aluminium bank card.
A visual breakdown
When it came to creating the interactive crystal elements for the website, we had a choice to make. Using live 3D models and textures in WebGL would have created a more interactive experience, but the visuals would have been limited by performance constraints. As aesthetics were central to the brand’s ethos, we opted for a pre-rendered image sequence tied to scroll. This option allowed us to create a high-fidelity visual while retaining an element of user interaction.

Building on the high-end aesthetic established on the website, we created beautiful 3D static and motion assets for use across marketing collateral and beyond.
